Funeral services for Jack Joyce, 70, former resident of Waterloo, who died Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reynold Funeral Home in Muskegon, Mich.
He was born in Coffeeville, Miss., and had been a resident of Waterloo for about 40 years. He had worked for the Rath Packing Co. for 25 years. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Joyce left here two years ago to reside with a daughter at Muskegon. He became ill about that time of a stroke and complications. He had been in the Veterans Hospital since May.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Cigzree Morris of Muskegon, Mich., and one nephew, Richard Joyce of 226 Quincy Street, Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
