CEDAR FALLS - Memorial services for Lucie B. Shipley, 98, of the Western Home, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Western Home Chapel with burial at a later date in the Adair Cemetery at Adair. She died Tuesday morning at the Western Home.

Mrs. Shipley was born June 10, 1883 at Adair, daughter of William and Anna Sigg Burmeister. She married John G. Shipley Sept. 19, 1907, at Adair

Survivors include two sons, Dr Norman Shipley of Waco, Texas, and J.G. Shipley Jr. of Hemet, Calif.; a daughter, Ramona Pendergraft of 1106 W. 16th St.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Shipley donated her body to the University of Iowa Medical School.
