Richard R. Buckman, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.

He was born November 2, 1929 at Union City, New Jersey, the son of Ernest Henry and Frances (Dewland) Buckman. Richard married Geraldine Delores Coffin on September 9, 1986 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Geraldine preceded him in death on December 22, 2004. Richard was an auto glass installer for forty-four years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include his sister, Shirley Cairo, of Secaucus, New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:30 am Monday, November 27, 2006, at Leber Funeral Home in Union City, New Jersey, with burial at Crest Haven Cemetery in Cliffton, New Jersey. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
