Marcella L. “Sally” Flessner, 69, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

Sally was born May 15, 1937 in Wellsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Albert & Minnie (DeVries) Huisman. She married Thomas Flessner September 14, 1956 at Wellsburg Reformed Church. She was employed as a secretary with the Cedar Falls Community School District for many years. She also was employed at GMAC and John Deere for many years where she handled the accounts payable.

Survivors include her husband, Tom, of Cedar Falls; two sons, John (Cheryl) Flessner of Wellsburg and Brent (Brenda) Flessner of Mesa, Arizona; two grandchildren, Andrea Flessner and Nicholas Flessner; and one brother, Norman (Donna) Huisman of Wellsburg.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2006 in the chapel at Prairie Lakes Church with burial at Wellsburg Reformed Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
