Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Mrs. Ludwig A. Alt, 53, of 1708 E. 4th St., who died at her, home a 5 p.m. Tuesday of a heart condition.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ernest P. Amund, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be In Mt. Olive Cemetery. There will be a parish Rosary at the O'Keefe and Towne funeral home at 8 p. m Thursday.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1912, in St. Lucas, Ia., the daughter of Joseph and Minnie Balk Schoeberl. She was married to Ludwig Alt on Oct. 14 1940, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cresco. They resided in Waterloo since 1951.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Carl, 16, and Steven, 8, both at home; three sisters: Mrs. Ida Delagardelle of 228 Oliver St.; Mrs. Clara Wandro of 511 Oak; Mrs. Catherine Taylor of New Hampton.
Mrs. Alt was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and of the Rosary Society.
