MRS. IDA C. BARRON

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home for Mrs. Ida C. Barron, 92, of Rt. 3, who died at 7:30 a. m. Monday at the Stephens Nursing Home of complications incident to advanced age. She had been a patient there for the past two months and had been ill for the past five months.

Mrs. Barron was born Sept. 19, 1867, in Summerset County, Pa., the daughter of Abraham and Sara Marteny Barclay. She was married to Henry I. Barron Dec. 16, 1889, in Black Hawk County. He died in 1907.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include three sons: Guy F., 714 W. 1st St.; Harold H., Rt. 2, and Victor R., Rt. 3; one daughter, Mrs. John Knudsen, 111 Riehl St.; one half sister, Mrs. John Bell, 611 Lincoln St.; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, two sons and one grandson.
