Mark D. Quistorff was born December 8, 1957, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Byron E. and Shirley (Schleisman) Quistorff. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1977. On June 14, 1980, he was united in marriage to Becky Holmes in Waterloo. They were later divorced. He owned and operated Rucco Feeds and also worked at JC Feeds in Waterloo prior to his illness.

Mark is survived by his son, Benjamin Quistorff of Waterloo; soul-mate, Becky; parents, Byron and Shirley Quistorff of Cedar Falls; brother, James (Michelle) Quistorff of Janesville; and sister, Renee Selleck of Cedar Falls.

Mark died Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents.
