Services for Mrs. Ila Pieper, 79, of the Americana Healthcare Center, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mrs. Pieper died Saturday morning at the care center.

She was born Jan. 19, 1905, at Center Point, daughter of Charley and Iva E. Parson Bardoner. She married Orlando H. Pieper July 20, 1926, at Marion, Kan., and he died Jan. 15, 1975.

Survivors include a son, O. Dale Pieper of Waterloo; two daughters, Mrs. Leila Blanck of Bellville, Ill., and Mrs. Wilma King of Sacramento, Calif:; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs. Venora Jones of Center Point, Mrs. Arda Wagner of Texas, and Mrs. Garnett Tallman of San Diego, Calif.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West Monday from noon to 9 p.m., and the family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. There will also be visitation at the church from 9 a.m. until services Tuesday.

A family memorial fund will be established at a later date.
