EVANSDALE - Services for Myron Gillespie, 41, of 415 Trail Ave., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Oppold Funeral Home, Waterloo. The Rev. S. M. Schreilmueller, pastor of First Lutheran Church, will officiate. He died Thursday morning of a heart attack shortly after being admitted to St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born March 21, 1933, in Sutherland, the son of Archie and Allice Kruse Gillespie. He married Donna Worple July 10, 1954, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

He was employed at Rath Packing Co. and was a member of Local P-46 Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Amvets Post 31.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters at home, Vickie and Terrie; his mother, Mrs. Allice Gillespie of San Bernardno, Calif.; six brothers: Archie of Boone, Robert of Georgia, Kenneth of 1117 South St., Waterloo, and Larry, Curtis, and Davis, all of San Bernardino; three sisters: Mrs. Willis West of 243 Wema Ave., Mrs. Jack Springer of 305 Hammond Ave., Waterloo, and Mrs. Terry Bryant of Colton, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Oppold Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
