CEDAR FALLS - Services for Sophie Marie Andorf, 97, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, will he 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Hudson with burial in the church cemetery. She died Sunday night at the Lutheran Home, where she had been resident for 16 years.

Mrs. Andorf was born Aug. 18, 1885, at Hille, Germany, daughter of August and Sophie Dulweber Brandhorst. She married William Henry Andorf Jan. 25, 1905, at Hudson. He died Dec. 23, 1943.

Survivors include four sons: Theodore of Waterloo, Earl of Lodi, Calif., Robert of Cedar Falls and Leroy of Wheaton, Ill.; four daughters: Mrs. Dora Petrie of Waterloo, Mrs. Ruth Freel of Washington, Iowa, Mrs. Elsie Straube of Waverly and Louise Andorf of Seward, Alaska; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, August Brandhorst of Fairbury, Neb.

Friends may call at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home until 9 p.m. Wednesday and for an hour preceding services at the church Thursday.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home or to Zion Lutheran Church.
