Jane A. Frost, 80, of LaPorte City, died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Covenant E.R.

She was born September 14, 1927, in New Hartford, daughter of Nels P. and Jeanette Hutting Jenson.

She graduated from East High School in Waterloo. She married Richard M. Frost on May 21 1946 in Gilbertville. He died June 21, 1992. Jane was the manager of the Isaac Walton League for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by three sons: Gary (Lynette) of LaPorte City; Bob (Diane) of Gilbertville; and Mike, also of LaPorte City; six daughters: Mary Jane Schaefer of St. Joseph, MO, LuAnn (Joe) Neighbors of LaPorte City, Jackie (Stan) Frost of LaPorte City, Linda (Mike) Seedorff of Waterloo, Toni (Dan) Ramaker of Gilbertville, and Kristi (Dr. Victor) Lawrinenko of LaPorte City; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; a brother, Dwayne Jenson of California; a sister, Carol (Wendell) Craft of Harvey, Iowa.

She was preceded by her parents; her husband; three brothers: Russell, Darrell, and Vernon (Betty) Jenson.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with burial in St. Marys Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4:00 p.m. rosary and a 7:00 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the family.
