WATERLOO — Paul C. “Pete” Dunakey, 71, of Waterloo, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of cancer.

He was born June 29, 1941, in Waterloo. He married Penny Hedeman on Dec. 26, 1961, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She died April 10, 2004. Mr. Dunakey worked at Waterloo Service Co., retiring in 1981.

Survived by a son, John (Stephanie) of Waterloo; a daughter-in-law, Susan Dunakey of Cedar Falls; and three grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey.

There will be no services: his body has been cremated. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.
