Services for Mrs. Kenneth Petrie, of 1114 Washington St., will be at 9 a. m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. E. J. O'Hagan will officiate. Rosary services by the parish will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Oppold Funeral Home.

Mrs. Petrie died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at her home of a heart attack. She was 64.

She was born Marie Ellen Johnston Sept. 24, 1902, at Ackey, the daughter of William and Alice Bear Johnston and atended Wartburg and Ellsworth Colleges.

She was married to Kenneth Petrie here Nov. 20, 1945, at St Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Petrie taught in rural schools near Ackley and Iowa Falls a number of years and ater taught at St. Nicholas, St John's and Blessed. Sacrament schools. She was a member of Sacret Heart Church.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Alice Johnston, 407 E. 1st St.; twin sisters, Mrs. Alice Bremmer Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Joseph Burns, Ackley, and a brother William Johnston, Oakland, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Oppold Funeral Home.
