Kathleen M. Holbach, 64, of Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center Waterloo formerly of 127 Rhey St. died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center of heart failure.

She was born January 24, 1943 the daughter of Fred and Viola Schiel Holbach. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1962 and worked as a nurses aide at the Western Home and Allen Hospital, retiring in 1979 due to disability.

Survivors include a nephew Raymond (Dr. Marlyce) Holbach of Janesville a niece Tammy Holbach of Waterloo an aunt Virginia Hill of Waterloo one uncle Fr. Nicholas Schiel of Honduras.

Preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law James and Loretta Holbach; and a nephew Steve Holbach.

Kathleen was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be Thursday October 11 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Order of Foresters rosary. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Friday.
