CEDAR FALLS — Clay Michael Kramer, 31, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waukon and Cedar Falls, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following a stroke.

He was born Jan. 22, 1982, in Mason City, son of Michael Joseph and Rebecca Susan Meyer Kramer.

A graduate of Waukon High School in 2000, Mr. Kramer attended the University of Northern Iowa, and was currently a student at Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, studying computer information systems. He also worked at Hardees Restaurant, Cedar Rapids, and at Whirlpool.

Survived by his parents of Waukon; a brother, Will of Waukon; and paternal grandmother, Rozella Kramer of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Cloy and Bonnie Meyer; and paternal grandfather, John Kramer.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church, rural Waukon, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, and an hour before services Thursday at the church.

A memorial fund has been established to benefit several charities to be determined at a later date.
