WATERLOO - Gene L. "Genoo" Hoeg, 65, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at Alien Hospital of natural causes

He was born July 14, 1934, in Oelwein, son of Gilbert E. and Ercil Robinson Hoeg. He was a U.S Army veteran and had been a supervisor at John Deere Foundry for 23 years, retiring in 1987.

Survived by two daughters, Robin Horan of Foothill Ranch, Calif., and Gena Wersinger of New Hartford; two grandchildren; and a brother, Gary of Dayton, Ohio.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery chapel, with burial in the cemetery.

Friends may call for an hour before services Friday at the cemetery chapel. Parrott & Wood Family

Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
