WATERLOO — Ellen “Jane” Webbeking, 85, of Waterloo, died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 20, 1927, in Waterloo, daughter of Arthur and Freda Stroh Huting. She married Ewald Herman Webbeking on July 6, 1947, in Waterloo. He died Nov. 18, 2002.

Mrs. Webbeking worked as a clerk at John Deere PEC for 16 years, retiring in 1988.

Survived by two sons, Art (Della) and Ken (Liz), both of Waterloo; twin daughters, Deb (John) Demos of Apple Valley, Minn., and Diane (Joe) Vollenweider of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Fred (June) Huting of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Clarence and Dale Huting; and five sisters: Louise Bidwell, Geraldine Huting, Alice Yarrington, Evelyn Welter and Esther Walker.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Memorials: may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
