WATERLOO — Ginger L. Chilcote, 62, of Waterloo, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1950, in Waterloo, daughter of Harold Vernon and Ruth Agnes Marvets Snyder. She married Gary R. Chilcote on Sept. 15, 1974, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Chilcote was a graduate of Waterloo East High School. She worked as a bartender and waitress at the Hickory House and managed the kitchen at the Silver Fox. She formerly worked in the craft department at the Waterloo Walmart.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Gary Jr. (Roxanne) of Waterloo and Grant (Michelle) of Hudson; two daughters, Kelly (Rick) Andorf of Hudson and Kristy Wrage of Waterloo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Donald (Pat) Snyder of Springfield, Mo., Larry (Connie) Snyder of Hudson and Gary (Dot) Snyder of Mitchellville; and four sisters, Audrey Collis of Hazel Green, Wis., Wanda (Danny) McKee and Shirley (Tim) Schell, both of Waterloo, and Phyllis Eichmeier of Cameron, Mo.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Greg; and a half brother, David Harold Snyder.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
