Funeral services for Mrs. Esther May Fouts, 61, of 422 Brookside Ave., Evansdale, Iowa, are pending at the Evansdale Chapel of Memories. She died Tuesday at 7:25 p.m. at Allen Memorial Hospital. Friends may call at the Evansdale Chapel of Memories after Wednesday noon.

MRS. ESTHER M. FOUTS

Funeral services are to be Friday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Esther M. Fouts, 61, who died Friday [SIC] at Allen Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Fouts, who lived at 422 Brookside Ave., Evansdale, Iowa, died of cancer.

Mrs. Fouts was born May 12, 1905, to Edward and Nellie Porter Mapes, in Floyd County, Iowa.

She was married to Evan Klinker January 8, 1922. They were later divorced. On March 22, 1954, she was married to Robert Allen Fouts in Waterloo. She had been employed by Powers Mfg. Co., Waterloo, for 12 years.

Mrs. Fouts is survived by her husband; by three sons: Wendell Klinker, Lakewood N. J.; Ralph Klinker, Dadeville, Missouri; and Edward Klinker, 407 Drexel Ave; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Scarbrough, Grandview, Missouri; two sisters, Miss Theta Mapes, Des Moines, and Mrs. Tressa Hutzell, Eldora; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Fouts was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; a member of the Northeast Iowa Cat Fanciers Club; the Northeast Iowa Aquarium Society; and assisted with Boy Scout Troop 127.

Funeral services are to be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Evansdale Chapel of Memories. Bishop James Troemner will officiate, assisted by Elders Harry Ross, Tom Rohovit, and Eugene Osterle.

Burial will be at Floyd.
