WATERLOO — Nancy Ann Terry, 73, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, March 4, 2013.

She was born May 9, 1939, in Waterloo, daughter of Horace “Hod” Lang and Mabel Lonergan Lang. She married Gene L. Terry on July 12, 1969, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Mrs. Terry was a 1957 graduate of Waterloo West High School. She worked for 10 years at Powers Manufacturing and retired to become a housewife and mother in 1977. She was a member of Central Christian Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, UAW Local 838 and had previously bowled on a league for more than 20 years.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Renae Terry of Waterloo; a brother, Jerry (Bernie) Lang of Lake Placid, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Lucille Terry of Newburg, Mo.

Preceded in death by a son, Craig.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a 7 p.m. Fraternal Order of Eagles service.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Nancy was a loving and caring person to all she met and knew. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in all who were privileged to know her. She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed holidays and any time spent together
