WATERLOO — Deborah A. “Deb” Gienger, 64, of Waterloo, died Monday, March 4, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born March 2, 1949, in Harrisonburg, Va., daughter of Edward and Martha Beikler Delamore. She married Scott Morris on June 29, 1968, in Waterloo, and they later divorced. She married Gerry Gienger on June 16, 2000, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Gienger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. She has been employed with GMAC for 26 years.

Survived by her husband; a son, Brian (Angie) Morris of Davenport; a daughter, Sara (Robbie) Wheeler of Dunkerton; two stepdaughters, Jerri Sue Gienger of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Karen (Robert) Gibbs of Cameron, Mo.; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a brother, Don (Meta) Delamore of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Linda (Dan) Delamore-Crum of Phoenix.

Preceded in death by: a stepson, Graham Gienger; and a brother, John “Jack” Delamore.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church, Cedar Valley Hospice, YMCA or the family.
