Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church for Grant Hammersmith, 85, of 450 W. Parker St., who died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday at park View Gardens of Complications incident to advanced years.

He was born on July 16, 1881, in Michigan. He married Amelia [Raatz] Webster on April 28, 1956 in Nashua. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and Townsend Club.

Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home after noontime Tuesday.

He is survived by his widow.

Landgrebe, Rev. Schreltmueller ond Rev. Watters. Also sincere thanks to our many friends, neighbors and relatives for their kind deeds, food, gifts, flowers, and card durlng the Illness and death of our husband and stepfather.

Grant was married previously to Ida (Boeckman) Wenthe Whitcomb 1875-1949. She is listed on his gravestone with him.
