WATERLOO - Vicki Kay Hirsch, 73, of Alexander, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond of breast cancer.

She was born Sept. 11, 1939, in Belmond, daughter of Else and Lois Pals. She married Walt Hirsch on Oct. 29, 1960, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Hirsch graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1957 and had worked as a secretary at Rath Packing Co. She also worked for the Waterloo School District from 1977 to 1985.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Pam (Kevin) Bishop of Glenville, Minn., and Nancy Hirsch of Plymouth, Minn.; a grandson; her mother of Belmond; and a sister, Elsie Santeramo of Longmont, Colo.

Preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Santeramo.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Belmond, with burial in Belmond Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
