HUDSON BOY DIES
IN HIS SLEEP MONDAYCedar Falls—Harold Clarence Andorf, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Andorf, route 2, Cedar Falls, died Monday at Woodward, la., where he had been a patient at the state hospital and school for 16 months.
He was taken ill with scarlet fever just two weeks ago, according to his parents. He had fully recovered and was to have been dismissed from the hospital Monday. He died in his sleep, it was discovered at 5:45 a. m.
Harold was born in Cedar Falls June 7, 1941. The family lives two miles northeast of Hudson. Harold was baptized into the Zion Lutheran church at Hudson.
Survivors include his parents, three sisters and one brother. They include: Mrs. Robert Pedersen, Route 2, Cedar Falls; Anna Mae, Waterloo; Mrs. Ernest Joens, Route 2, Cedar Falls, and Pfc. Gerald E. Andorf, Ft. Richardson, Alaska.
The body is at the Dahl funeral home, where the funeral service is pending.
