MRS. LILLIE EPPS

Mrs. Lillie Epps, 45, of 432 Lane St., died Tuesday in an Iowa City hospital of complications of diabetes.

Mrs. Epps had been a resident of Waterloo for 28 years. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Church of God in Christ, with the Rev. Pearl Hayes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories East from 4-9 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors include two sons, Freddie Lee, 17, and Terry Edward, 13. at home: four daughters: Mrs. Lillie Taylor of 1665 Cherry Hills Dr., Mrs. Lois Ambrose of 2220 Idaho St., Mrs. Geneva Martin of 904 Linn St., and Miss Katherine Epps of 422½ Oneida St.; one brother, Ernest Bass of Waterloo and one sister, Mrs. Annie Bee of Jackson, Miss., and seven grandchildren.
