Funeral services for Harry W. Schultz, 76, of 226 Logan Ave., will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Locke Funeral Home. Rev. Charles J. Gunnell, pastor of Christ Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Schultz died at 12:30 p.m. Friday at his home of a heart condition.
He was born near Fairbank on March 24, 1884, the son of John and Emma Higby Schultz. He attended Alcott and East Waterloo High Schools. and had lived here since 1890.
On June 20, 1905 he married Josephine V. Musser in Waterloo.
Mr. Schultz was a tool and die maker and had been retired from his employment with the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works since 1949. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church and of Delphic Lodge No. 509, A. F. & A. M., in Des Moines.
He is survived by his wife, at home, and by one son, Harold, also at 226 Logan Ave.
Mr. Schultz was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and a daughter, Wilma.
The family suggests that friends who wish to do so contribute to the memorial fund of Christ Episcopal Church.
