Funeral services for John Herman Cratsley, W, of 820 Maxwell St., will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Locke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.

Mr, Cratsley died about 9:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Francis Hospital of leukemia.

He was born in Waterloo Oct, 16, 1893, the son of Herman and Susan Cratsley.

He married Pearl L. Rients June 17, 1920, in Waterloo. He was a machinist with the Illinois Central Railroad for 44 years, retiring in 1958. He served in the Rainbow Division in World War I.

Surviving is his wife, and one daughter, Mrs. Robert Burger of 148 Greenwood Ave.
