WATERLOO, IOWA — Marcella May Sink, 84, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

She was born December 28, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Harold P. and Anna Woock Miller. She married Clyde Cleo Sink on April 23, 1940, in Cedar Rapids. He died June 15,1986.

Mrs. Sink was employed with the Waterloo Register Co. and Waterloo Community Schools, specifically at Logan Middle School in the cafeteria. She also enjoyed knitting baby hats for newborns at Covenant Medical Center.

Survivors include five sons: Thomas (Karen) and James (Vicki), both of Cedar Falls, Daniel (Linda) and David, both of Waterloo, and Joe (Mary) of Raymond; six daughters, Susan (David) Douglas of Bixby Okla, Carol (Bob) Goodrich of New Hartford, Kathy (Ray) Moore and Barbara (Jim) Burns, both of Waterloo, Betsy (Dan) McDougaU of Dunkerton and Jody (Jim) Sessions of Yuma, Arizona; 32 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lou (Dick) Mead of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rosemary Sink; a son, Jerry M. Sink; two sisters, Joan Varco and Ramona Claus; a grandson, Beau Daniel Junge; and a granddaughter, Jamie Sink.

Services: 10:30 am. Saturday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Mulberry Street with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 3 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
