WATERLOO — Evalyn Joyce Davison, 83, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Nov. 18, 1929, in Waterloo, daughter of Leo and Laura Madden Moody. She married Bruce A. Johnson on May 19, 1951, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 23, 1970. She married Elton L. Davison Jr. on Aug. 23, 1980, in Waterloo. He died March 23, 1992.

Mrs. Davison graduated from St. Mary’s High School and worked in the offices of the Paramount Theatre, Black’s Department Store for five years, J.C. Penney Co. catalog department for 15 years, John Deere for seven years and the Waterloo Public Library. She was a member of the Waterloo VFW Auxiliary, Evansdale AMVETS Auxiliary and a mentor at St. Nicholas School, Evansdale.

Survived by a daughter, Bridget Johnson of Evansdale; two sons, Kevin (Patricia) and Brian Johnson, both of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and a brother, Richard (Marion) Moody of Stillwater, Minn.

Preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Bloes.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
