Mildred "Mickey" Krueger, 79, of 209 Rome Ave., died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at Allen Hospital, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 14, 1921, near Jesup, the daughter of Arthur D. and Bernice Beatty Murray.

She married Raymond W. Krueger May 29, 1939, in Independence. He died Jan. 16, 1987.
Mrs. Krueger was a 1939 graduate of Brandon High School.

Survived by a son, Virgil of Oceanside, Calif.; a grandson; and her nephew and primary care giver, Perle Stainbrook.

Preceded in death by a brother, Duane Murray; and a sister, Mardelle Stainbrook.

Graveside services: 2:30 p.m. Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with burial in the Garden of Memories. There will be no visitation. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
