CEDAR FALLS - Marie B. Woods, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1924, in Colfax County, Neb., daughter of HJoseph and Pauline Koudelka Weltruski. She married Robert B. Woods June 4, 1942, in St. Edward, Neb.

Mrs. Woods worked for various employers including Jordans Nursery, Sartori Memorial Hospital, Motel 6 and McDonalds.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Nancy (Michael) Cline of Metamora, Ill., and Deborah (Dan) Burkett of Evansdale; six grandchildren: Steve (Martie) Cline, Danton (Anita) Burkett, Brandon B.J. Burkett, Scott (Amanda) Cline, Kami (Mike) Williams and Jenny (Dan) Leman; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Milo Weltruski of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Joseph, Frank and John; and two sisters, Libby Horn and Mildred Haas.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
