Funeral services are pending at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home for Stephen M. Regenold, 56, of 1217 Mulberry Street. Mr. Regenold died about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Allen Memorial Hospital of a stroke.

He was born July 8, 1900, at Oelwein, the son of Michael and Josephine Barthelmew Regenold. He came to Waterloo in 1924 and married Mildred Gruver here December 25, 1926. He had been employed at the Rath Packing Company for 13 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons: Wilbur, Michael, Stephen and David all of home; one daughter, Miss Ruth Regenold of Minneapolis, Minnesota and four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Baer of Lewiston, Idaho; Mrs. Leona Potts of Parma, Idaho; Mrs. Josephine Bell of Trail City, South Dakota and Mrs. Juanita Bercier of North Cedar.

Mr. Regenold was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
