ELMER E TABER

Elmer E. Taber. 75, died at 5:10 p. m. Monday at the home of a son, Harry E. Taber, 651 West 11th Street, following a short illness. Until recently he had made his home with another son, Cecil, at 1512 Burton Avenue.

He was born Mar. 28, 1868, in Kalamazoo county, Mich., son of Niles and Lydia Taber. On June 26, 1891, he was married to Edith May McBride. The family moved to Waterloo from Anamosa 33 years ago. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal church in Anamosa.

Surviving are three sons, Harry E., Pvt. Cecil R. at Camp Callan, Cal., and Ralph L., 731 Newton Street. One sister, Mrs. Bert Schick, resides at Vicksburg, Mich. There are 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

His wife, one son and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements are pending arrival of the son from California. The body is at Kearns Garden chapel.
