CEDAR FALLS - Beth Ann Bader, 63, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Vinton, died at home Monday, Jan. 2, 2006.

She was born June 25, 1942, in Vinton, daughter of Robert and Bernice Whitson Parmater Sr.

Ms. Bader was a 1960 graduate of Geneseo Community School and Pitzes Beauty School in Waterloo. She was a local hairstylist and worked for over 25 years as the Coordinator of Tours at the John Deere Engine Works through Staff Management Services in Waterloo. She was the current president of Chapter Xi Omega of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and was a member of several local card clubs.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheryl (Doug) Dozier of Harrisburg, N.C.; a son, Brad (Heidi) of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Emma Dozier and Joshua and Carson Bader; a brother, Rick (Pam) Parmater of Vinton; a sister, Susan Nosbish of Vinton; many nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.

Preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Suanne Bader; a brother, Robert Parmater Jr.; and her paternal grandmother, Lilli Parmater.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
