WATERLOO — Philip "Phil" Colbert, 53, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Sept. 8, 1959, in St. Louis, son of George and Frances Frost Colbert. He married Dawn Billman on April 20, 1985, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

He was a graduate of Troy High School in Troy, Mo., and was a 1982 graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City Pharmacy School. Mr. Colbert owned and operated Phil’s Pharmacy in Reinbeck for many years. He was a member of the Iowa Pharmacy Board.

Survived by his wife of Waterloo; two sons, Nathan (Cindy) of Waterloo and Christopher of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Manda Colbert of Waterloo; his mother of Troy; a brother, Kenneth (Michelle) of Steeleville, Mo.; two sisters, Kathleen (Mark) Dobbs of St. Joseph, Mo., and Doretta (David) Whitcraft of Wichita, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Prairie Lakes Church, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to World Vision or the Alzheimer’s Association.

He also had a 2nd pharmacy at 101 Eddystone Dr., Hudson. He mostly worked at the Reinbeck location.
