WATERLOO — Michael “Mike” Jensen, 74, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Allen Hospital.

He was born Jan. 24, 1939, in Iowa Falls, son of Melvin and Pauline “Bid” Whitman Jensen.

Survived by a sister, Michaela “Mickey” (Ken) Jackson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother, Jerry.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today an hour before services Friday at the chapel.

Memorials may be directed to Country View.

Mike loved eating pie, cookies and pizza. He enjoyed his family and friends, and he made many friends at Country View, which he has called home since 1966. Mike was a very sociable person and liked talking on the telephone and riding in the car or on a bus.
