Heart Attack is Fatal for Milo Isley

CEDAR FALLS - Milo E. Isley, 68, died suddenly at his home 1291 West Nineteenth Street, shortly before 8 a.m. Friday. He had left home earlier to go to Waterloo, where he was employed in a west side super market, although he complained of not feeling very well, a member of the family related. After he reached the store, he went across the street to get a cup of coffee at a café but he grew weak and shaky and a man helped him across the street to the store. Another employee of the store brought Isley home, arriving about 7:45 a.m. Isley lay down on a couch in the living room and died within in a few minutes.

Isley was born at Lamont, Iowa the son of James and Alice Isley, June 19, 1880.

He married Blanche McKillip at Dubuque, Iowa June 28, 1906. After living at Allison and Waterloo for a few years, they came to Cedar Falls, which has been the Isley's home for 30 years. Mrs. Isley operated a small grocery store business in part of the home. The couple had no children.

Besides his widow, Mr. Isley is survived by two brothers, E. J. Isley, 922 Eight Street and Gilbert Isley, 325 West Fourth Street.

Mr. Isley was a member of the Methodist Church and the Knights of Pythias.

The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home.

ISLEY RITES TUESDAY

CEDAR FALLS - Funeral services for Milo Isley, who died at his home here Saturday will be held at the Dahl Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday DR H. D. Temple will conduct the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
