CEDAR FALLS — Jeanette Florence Boehm Riebe, 71, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, of Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born July 24, 1941, in Waterloo, daughter of Elvin and Bertha Weber Boehm. She married Ron Riebe on June 20, 1959.

Mrs. Riebe graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1959. She was part of the management team for husband’s Super Valu, later worked as a pharmacy tech in Cedar Falls, and in Green Bay, Wis., after the couple moved to the area in 1978. They also lived in Illinois, Kansas and Dousman, Wis., before retiring to Arizona.

Survived by her husband; a son, Randy (Julie) of De Pere, Wis.; a daughter, Rajean (Ron) Reed of Indianapolis; three grandchildren: Ryan Riebe and Erika Riebe, both students at Ripon (Wis.) College, and Cassidy Riebe of De Pere; a brother, John (Louise) Boehm of Nashville; a sister, Joan (Dave) Adams of Marion; nieces; a nephew; an aunt; and cousins

Preceded in death by her parents; and her father- and mother-in-law, Al and Leona Riebe; her grandparents; a nephew; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel, Sun City West, Ariz.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Jeanette took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and then thoroughly enjoyed her role as a grandmother.
