WATERLOO — Janet M. Stacy-Mangas, 73, of Fayette, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Waterloo, daughter of Clifford and Edna Baker Stacy.

She lived in Fayette, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo. She was employed with Quaker Oats, Cedar Rapids until her retirement.

Survived by three daughters: Suzette (Dan) Thomas and Cerise (Steve) LaGrange, both of Cedar Rapids, and Laura (Larry) McGaffee of Shorewood, Ill.; three sons: Mark (Diana) of Shellsburg, Jon (Deneen) of Coggon and Seth of Fayette; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Doris) Stacy of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Iva Jean Stacy of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Barb Stacy of Omaha, Neb.

Preceded in death by a son, Jonathan; and a brother, Rex Stacy.

Private family graveside services: will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.
