WILLIAM WATTERS

William Watters, 78, died at 2:40 a. m. today at his home, 306 Vine Street, after an eight weeks' illness from complications.

Deceased was born March 8, 1850, at McKeesport, Pa., and came to Washington County, la., when he was 10. He resided there until he was married to Miss Ella Talbott in 1889. The couple came to Waterloo four years ago.

Surviving besides his widow are one daughter, Mrs. Maude Werner, 306 Vine street, and one sister, Mrs. S. J. Simpson, California.

Two brothers, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the residence, Rev. Roy Leslie Smith, pastor of Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. The body will be taken to Washington County for burial The body is at Petersen Bros.' Mortuary.
