WATERLOO — Jane Ackerson, 81, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

She was born Jan. 7, 1932, daughter of William and Helena Boring.

Ms. Ackerson worked as a Courier driver.

Survived by three daughters: Linda Kimball of Washburn, Kathy Ackerson of Florida and Roberta Ackerson of North Carolina; a son, Rick of California; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: three sisters, Clair Shouse, Shirley Webber and Dorthy Guttenick; a son, Joe Michel; and a grandson, Jason Jordon.

Services: will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
