WATERLOO — Alice Cox, 78, of Waterloo, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born March 14, 1934, in Dallas, Wis., daughter of Freeman and Dorothy Forehand Kringle. She married Donald D. Cox on May 21, 1955, in Dallas, Wis.

She graduated from North Central Bible College, Minneapolis, and studied music at the University of Northern Iowa. Mrs. Cox assisted her husband in his church ministries for many years. She served as secretary and bookkeeper for the “Hour of Hope” TV program for more than 20 years. She was a member of Celebration First Assembly of God.

Survived by her husband of Waterloo; two sons, David (Connie) of Windermere, Fla. and Tim (Michelle) of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two daughters, Juanita (Stan) Fager of Waterloo and Susan (Mike Kravitz) Cox of Clermont, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lester (Dorothy) Kringle of Minnesota; and a sister, Deborah Benford of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Kringle.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Celebration First Assembly of God, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Celebration First Assembly of God music/sound Department.
