CEDAR FALLS — Catherine Elizabeth Hansen, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Cedar Falls Heath Care.

She was born in Dike, daughter of Henry and Dori Bruns Webrand.

She married George A. Hansen on April 2, 1942, in Reno, Nev. He died Aug. 12, 1992.

Mrs. Hansen was a homemaker and a full-time volunteer at Bible Educational Service as a Jehovah’s Witness. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Cedar Falls Congregation.

Survived by two sons, George (Lynne) of Urbandale, and Dean (Sandra) of Evansdale; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Alice (Harry) Masteson of Davenport, Viola (Harry) Nissen of Cedar Falls, and Marlys (Guy) Wraq of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by a brother, Jurgen Webrand; two sisters, Irma Stuben and Fannie Osborn; and a grandson, Jason Hansen.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall on Pleasant Valley Dr.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice Society and Cancer Association.
