August F. Bremer, 51 of Boston Avenue, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at his residence of carcinoma.
Bremer was born March 11, 1900 near Frederika, the son of August and Paulina Bremer. He married Elsie Ludtke in the First Lutheran Church of Waterloo on July 15, 1919. The couple left Waterloo returning in 1935. He had been employed for 10 years by Montgomery Ward Co. Prior to that he had been employed as buttermaker in Williamstown, IA for 13 years.
Survivors include his wife and brother, Frank Bremer, Tripoli.
His parents, two brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.
The body will be removed from O'Keefe and Towne funeral home to the residence Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the home and 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran church. Rev. S. M. Becker will officiate and burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
