CEDAR FALLS — Darline Short, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Clarksville, daughter of Arthur and Dorotha Meskimen Fisher. She married Robert Short on Nov. 9, 1948, at Correctionville. He died March 23, 2004.

Survived by a son, Robert Cary (Chris) of International Falls, Minn.; three daughters: Kathy (Jim) Sealman of Reinbeck, Kelley (Stephen) Busch of Denver and Kayann (Pete) Lilja of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dale (Dorothy) and Arlos (Tempest) Fisher, both of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Wade and Alan Fisher.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, with inurnment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens at a later date. Visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the church, and also for an hour before services Monday. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Girl Scouts of America or the church.
