Clarence E. Newcomb, 50, 110 Eighth street east, died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks. He had been in the hospital since June 20. Prior in his illness he was employed in the stock room at the Galloway company plant.

Surviving are two brothers, Clyde Newcomb, Omaha, and Lloyd Newcomb, Clinton, N.J.; and two sisters, Mrs. Emily Knapp, San Francisco, Cal., and Ruth Newcomb in Arizona.

His wife died Feb. 3, 1926.

The body is at the O'Keefe & Towne funeral home.

He married Elsie Price at Plainfield, Ia., Sept. 2, 1896.
One daughter Evelyn Newcomb Donahoo 1897 - 1920 preceded Elsie in death.
