BUCKINGHAM — Catherine Irene Livingston, 38, of rural Buckingham, died at home Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, following an extended illness.

She was born July 17, 1974, in Waterloo, daughter of William Kenneth and Marcia Ellen Thomason Livingston. She attended River Hills School for Special Needs Children, Cedar Falls, until she was 21. She then transferred to Adults Inc., which later became North Star Community Services, which she attended until the time of her death. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Dysart.

Survived by her parents of Buckingham; two brothers, William Carl (Victoria) of Ankeny and James Kenneth (Desirae) of Vinton; and a sister, Christine Janice (James) Trahms of Ankeny.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, William McClair and Verda Janice Worth Livingston and Arthur Bruce and Inez Irene Schrader Thomason.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, Dysart, with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Silent City Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Overton Funeral Home, Dysart, is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund is being established.
