Mrs. Florence E. Baker, Chicago, died at St. Francis hospital at 8:50 a.m. today after illness of nine months. Mrs. Baker came to Waterloo three weeks ago, hoping that in care of her sister, Mrs. Selma Stabenow, living east of the city, she might recover. About a week ago, she was taken to the hospital. Her husband, Charles Baker, arrived Sunday.

Remains were removed to O'Keefe & Towne Mortuary awaiting funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
