CEDAR FALLS — Lehman "Lee" Anderson, 94, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Mill Pond Retirement Community, Ankeny.
He was born Jan. 23, 1918, in Polk County, Wis. He married Kathryn "Kay" Gustafson in 1944.
Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. After World War II he attended Iowa State University and in 1948 graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Survived by: his wife; two sons, Kent (Becky) of Cedar Falls and Karl (Kathy) of Ankeny; a daughter, Kathryn Arndt of Polk City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services: 10 a.m. Jan. 26 at Mill Pond Retirement Community.
