MRS. ELNORA M. MARQUIS

Mrs. Elnora M. Marquis, 86, of 316 Walnut St., died at 6:10 a. m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Leta B. Hansen, 700 Kingsley Ave., of complications incident to advanced age.

She was born Elnora Bronson on Aug. 10, 1877, on a farm near Raymond, the daughter of John
and Adella Ferris Bronson.

She was married in Waterloo to Clarence D. Marquis and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are the daughter with whom she lived and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sons, one sister, three half-sisters and five half-brothers.

Funeral services are pending at the Locke Funeral Home.

Notes: Mr. Marquis was a foreman in the employee of the Waterloo, Cedar Falls & Northern Railway, and Mrs. Marquis was employed in the carpet department of the Paul Davis store.

Sons were:
Harold Marquis, March 23, 1897-June 4, 1911 -drowned at age 14.
Clayton Leon Marquis Aug. 26, 1906-June 8. 1907, age 9½ mo, died of bronchitis.
Floyd Marquis, Dec. 22, 1900 -Jan. 14, 1904, died of typhoid fever at age 3.
